Selita Ebanks Sued Over Broken Nose

Selita Ebanks is reportedly in a bit of hot water. The Victoria’s Secret model and bathing suit designer (yup, girl’s got a swimwear line) might be facing a lawsuit from a fellow model, who claims Ebanks broke her nose.

According to the Daily News, model Liza Irizarry plans on filing a civil suit against Ebanks over an incident in 2011. Irizarry claims Ebanks punched Irizarry in the face and broke her nose after Irizarry kissed Ebanks’ boyfriend, BET host Terrence J, on the cheek.

The scuffle took place in the Miami nightclub, Dream, last November. Irizarry and Terrance J are old friends, the model claims. But when she greeted him at the club, Selita reportedly interjected, “Don’t be kissing my man,” and a physical fight ensued.

Ebanks was never arrested nor charged. The story broke back in November, when TheYBF.com published an “exclusive” report: “Model Claims SELITA EBANKS PUNCHED & ATTACKED HER At A Club In Miami….And We’ve Got The Bruised Up Pics!” Irizarry tweeted the story from her personal Twitter as well as other similar stories from sites like Bossip.com.

The suit — and the club kerfuffle — comes as a surprise to us. Not only did we miss the news back in November, but we’ve always known Ebanks to fly fairly under the radar. The latest headlines about the Victoria’s Secret model have touted her new swimwear line, Sass. In fact the most salacious tidbit we can recall is Ebanks’ crotch getting bruised by a pair of bejeweled panties, which was more painful for her than anyone else.

But hey, models are no strangers to lawsuits.

We’ve reached out to Selita Ebanks’ reps for a comment regarding the lawsuit and will update should we hear back. Read more at NYDailyNews.com.
