Katie Holmes to conquer New York Fashion Week

Divorce; Katie Holmes; Tom Cruise; Scientology; Suri: there’s a new addition to buzzwords surrounding Kate Holmes and her high-profile separation from Hollywood actor Tom Cruise: Holmes & Yang.

While the ‘who gets what’ palaver is played out in the courts and the tabloids, Holmes is quietly concentrating on her fashion line Holmes & Yang and is set to present her latest collection at New York Fashion Week for the first time.

reveal that the star’s spring/summer 2013 collection, which she creates with designer partner Jeanne Yang, will be presented in a yet to be confirmed location at the start of September.

It has been reported that the 33-year-old has made New York her home in her bid to seek full custody of her six-year-old daughter with Cruise, Suri. Although the couple were based in California – where courts tend to favour joint custody in which both parents get a voice on how children are raised – Holmes has now set up home in Manhattan.
