The Hermès French Equestrian Team Olympic outfits.

Who better to show up at the Olympics than a fashion house which shares its name with a Greek god?

With Ralph Lauren (USA), Stella McCartney (Great Britain), and Prada and Emporio Armani (Italy) already lined up to dress their respective nations’ athletes at the London 2012 Summer Games, Hermès is doing a solid for Team France by designing outfits for its national equestrian team, Vogue U.K. reports.

It’s a fitting choice for the luxury brand, which got its start making harnesses and saddles, not to mention a major coup for the French equestrians, who will don smart blue riding jackets with red collars. The French label used a light technical fabric to guarantee the riders’ comfort and flexibility.

What’s next, Louis Vuitton Speedos for the diving team and Dior leotards for the gymnasts?
