Cameron Diaz Loves British Men (Harper’s Bazaar June 2012)

Cameron Diaz is the woman you always know what to expect from – love, kindness and a lot of fun. Well, and photos of her incredibly fit body… Cameron, who is now promoting her upcoming movie What To Expect When You’re Expecting, appears on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar wearing a sexy Calvin Klein dress that exposes both her cleavage and the leg. She also poses in a simple white shirt complemented with a trilby and a one-piece swimsuit on different photos inside the issue.

Cameron Diaz, who is known for having dated outstanding men in her past, has expressed her love to British men saying:

I love their sense of humour and the sense of chivalry and charm. It’s something that is innately a part of the culture – we don’t have that over here, it’s not the same in America.”

She named Colin Firth as the ‘perfect Englishman’:

He’s the perfect Englishman. Just enough of the self-effacing to a point that it’s comfortable for other people, but also totally charming and engaging to where he makes you feel special. He’s got that British honesty.”

And then Cameron Diaz confessed that she loves not only British men but also British people and even the British capital. She commented:

I love the Brits – I always have. I have a weak spot for them. I grew up on Monty Python. I love Little Britain. My grandfather used to watch Benny Hill all the time…

What I love about London is all the green spaces – you know how every little neighbourhood will have a little park or a square…. I like to get walking in a city. I always find myself in very interesting places. I love London.”

Speaking to the interviewer of Harper’s Bazaar Cameron Diaz says she has become close with Gwyneth Paltrow recently:

We became very close after my dad’s death. She reached out and it was very sweet. We bonded on that.”

As for how other people describe Cameron Diaz, she is said to be a really nice person everyone likes to spend time with. Harper’s Bazaar’s interviewer Melissa Whitworth said of the actress:

We spent three hours together… Drank a bottle of rosé, ate food and talked and talked. That’s the best way to experience someone and work out what makes them tick: when they are utterly relaxed. It was one of my favorite interviews in the 13 years I’ve been doing this. She’s been interviewed into oblivion over the last 18 years, so I expected her to be jaded, but not a bit.”

Cameron Diaz’s ex-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez also opened up about the star last month:

I don’t like talking about my relationships, but what I will tell you about CD is that she’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.”
